Resting… It’s always a challenge in our life. School, work, three bassets… It’s tough to get some space to reflect and be thankful.
This week was spent in Elijay, Georgia at a beautiful cabin with my parents, sister, and dogs of all kind. It was wonderful. I had plenty of time to eat, sleep, and build fires. Everything a man could want right?
We need to learn to stop more often. When was the last time you stopped just because. It’s been my experience that when you do you realize how colorful and textured life is.
This week I stopped to consider how thankful I am for a wife who loves me and dogs who bring me joy. I have a family that I can laugh with.
