How It Works:
1. Lets Chat
Through email and phone conversations we will begin to explore the opportunity of being a part of your special day.
2. Lets Meet
Next, we will pick a time and location to meet in person to dive deeper into your story and where you find yourself in the planning process. I hope to get to know you better as we discuss the following:
- The overall feel of the service
- Length of ceremony
- The nature of the vows
- The exchange of rings
- Whether or not there will be any symbolic acts during the ceremony
- Possible readings or other elements to include
- To what extent you want the ceremony to be spiritual
- The giving away of the bride
- The plan for the rehearsal
- The ceremony outline
- How you want to be presented
- The license
- Reception details
3. Lets Get You Married!
After our meeting, I will begin the process of putting your story and ceremony together. I will be in touch via email, phone, and/or video calling until the day of the rehearsal. At the rehearsal, I will be there to help in whatever way I can, while also making sure everyone is clear on the components and order of the ceremony.
Some couples would like to preview my manuscript before the big day. This is not a problem, but I believe that there is tremendous power when the couple hears the words of the ceremony for the first time. In light of this, I suggest that couples find a trusted friend or family member to preview it on their behalf. This is been very successful in the past and I believe the result is powerful!
