On Sunday, January 24, Driscoll shared photos, videos, and stories of the church in Haiti and how the church is responding to the suffering they are going through. He went down to Haiti right after the disaster with Churches Helping Churches.

Churches Helping Churches was created to address the immediate and long-term needs of churches when disaster befalls a country, region, city, or people in the spirit of Galatians 6:10—“…let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.”

What can you do? One way… come and attend Compassion International’s Help Haiti Live event this Saturday online.

On January 12th an earthquake shook Port-au-Prince leaving thousands dead and many more without food, water, or shelter. Now, more than a month later, Compassion International is still standing with the people of Haiti.

Compassion has been meeting the physical and spiritual needs of Haitians for more than forty years and will continue to serve them in this time of extreme need. Already Compassion International has supplied more than 15,000 families with clean water, food, blankets, temporary shelter, medical supplies and counseling.

Last week nearly 1000 of us gathered online and for a live experience to focus our attention towards the Lenten Journey that prepares us for the cross.

This began with Ash Wednesday…

Our team put together an incredible online experience that allowed the visitor to participate in their own do-at-your-own-pace 20 minute service. You can still see the content if you to head over to the website or you can just watch them below.
