Thursday mornings the guys from my house church meet at a local restaurant called Eagles Landing. We meet to talk vision for our community and accountabiliy/encouragment. I have to honest. I haven’t experienced the richness of this level of community anywhere in my life. I remember thinking when I left college that it was going to be tough finding the same level of community I had. This level of community that I have now doesn’t even touch it.

Why is that? Because it covenantial community.

From the beginning, we decided that community is only as strong as the bind that ties it. So we signed a spiritual covenate with each other.

We will chase community to the core.
We will pursue the heart of God for each other.

And we will do this with an intensity that will only die if the Lord literally screams us to start.

I hope to write more about this, but until then…
