Being on my spiritual to find a biblical context of my career, I found this video on Videology from Mars Hill. Pastor Mark gives biblical credibility to virtual [video] teaching. This is a must watch for any of you who are in technical ministry. I think, if done well, video teaching can be just as good as the real thing. I cannot tell you how many times I have taken people to see North Point’s virtual teaching system and faked people out that Andy was actually there teaching. My friend Ryan Shove at Browns Bridge has said that he frequently hears people asking if they could talk to Andy. When they tell them he is there, they get so confused because, “He was was just here!” No, that was just an image.
Soon, I am going to go and check out this new hologram technology that Clark Pro Media is now starting to promote in some churches. Its just as expensive, but you need a bigger space to do it. I’ll keep you posted!
